Casual mountain comfort

5'10, 170 with athletic build and tryed on all sizes at shop and LARGE fit the bill. I tend to roll the bottom sleeve so fits good either way. Silk lined sleeves slide over anything. Warmth is fantastic and rarely button so never gets hot. My first TG item and definitely impressed! Interior means it goes from field work right to a social event without missing a beat! Like that it's such a light material and not the heavy canvas you normally see in this style wear.

Fits alright

The quality of the jacket is very nice. The sizing is not what I'm typically used to. I'm size large in everything. True grit large jacket made me look like a kid wearing Dad's jacket. So now on, going to look for the model photo information.

Great jacket

I really like this jacket, and have gotten several compliments wearing it. In the Pacific Northwest, this is a great jacket for Fall/Spring, when it's not raining too much. IIt's medium weight, and quite warm. I wish there was an interior pocket, but the side pockets are quite large. I also wish the material was a bit more rugged, but it's nicer looking than the more rugged brands.

Nothing's Perfect

The jacket is heavier than I expected and that will necessarily limit the number of occasions and locations when wearing it makes sense. It's also a darker shade of brown/khaki that the picture on-line. The fit (L) is fine and the quality appears good.
True Grit makes good stuff, just know what you're getting--this is not some casual, mild weather jacket. It's close to being a heavy duty piece you'll only wear during four months or so of the year.
